Umbriaperta, over 155 applications for contribution to support accommodation businesses received in the first hours in the first hours, demonstrating great interest from the entrepreneurs

In the first hour that the application system was open, 120 requests for contributions to support Umbrian hotel and non-hotel accommodation businesses received, recorded by the online counter for the submission of applications, for a total amount of 15 million euros.

As communicated by the Region's tourism service, the number of applications reached 155 in the next three hours, showing the great interest of Umbrian hoteliers and the validity of the measure put in place by the regional department of tourism as part of the Umbriaperta package of measures providing the sector with a series of tools to support the reopening phase after the health emergency.

The call aimed at accommodations businesses has as its purpose to support investments useful for the recovery of tourism businesses affected by the pandemic, with a budget of 8 million euros, of which 1 million are reserved for accommodation businesses operating in the territories of the 2016 earthquake. The call provides for grants of 75%, up to a maximum of 200 thousand euros against investment projects of at least 15 thousand euros relating to the redevelopment of facilities, the replacement of machinery and furniture functional to the activity, technological innovation and promotional and marketing expenses.

The preliminary investigation of applications received will begin immediately, also to assess the resources required, so as to give answers to companies in a short time.
