Umbria at BIT Digital Edition 2021

This year the tourism fair BIT Milan takes place entirely in virtual form, due to the pandemic situation. From 9 to 11 May the event is intended exclusively for professionals, while from 12 to 14 May it is aimed at the traveling public. The aim is still to support the travel industry to restore and develop business contacts and to make tourism recover after such a difficult period.
The Umbria Region is there with a dedicated virtual stand hosting 61 co-exhibitors including tour operators, consortia, travel agencies and accommodation facilities. The Umbrian exhibitors are able to present their proposals and services in an effective and personalized way, talking with visitors using the chat and video chat functions integrated in their agenda, to make commercial contacts. Each exhibitor was able to customize its own page by creating content to share with visitors with stories, documents, information, videos and links to events.

The participation in BIT Digital is organized by Sviluppumbria as part of the many activities carried out on behalf of the Umbria Region with the aim of promoting our region as a tourism destination on national and international markets.
