Umbria Aerospace Cluster at Farnborough International Airshow 2022 with the support of the Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria

The Umbria Aerospace Cluster is exhibiting at the Farnborough International Airshow in London, the most important exhibition event in the sector at global level in 2022, together with the Paris-Le Bourget which takes place in odd years.

The exhibition, scheduled from 18 to 22 July, is supported by the Umbria Region with the organisational support of Sviluppumbria.

The regional presence, within a collective stand, also includes numerous commercial and institutional meetings and appointments with international operators, in order to consolidate collaboration and supply relationships with the most important aerospace customers.

Eleven companies from the Cluster will take part in Farnborough 2022: Co.Me.Ar., Fomap, Fucine Umbre, Ncm, Oma, Rampini Carlo, RF Microtech, Temis, Test Industry, UmbraGroup and Umbria Aerospace Systems. They will be able to directly represent their industrial expertise to the major players in the sector in a scenario in which negotiations that are fundamental for commercial development, and also to confirm wide-ranging productive collaboration, traditionally take place.

Speakers at the fair will include Cluster President Daniele Tonti, Michele Fioroni, Councillor for Economic Development, Innovation, Digital and Simplification, and Sviluppumbria's CEO Michela Sciurpa.

The structured presence at the Farnborough International Airshow is a demonstration of how the support to the Cluster from the Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria is a qualifying element for the entire region. Enhancing the link between the public and private sectors is a strategic factor for the aerospace industry and for the entire region.
