St. Francis Way and Umbrian pilgrimage routes on tour

The St. Francis Way crosses Umbria, passing through areas of exceptional natural and cultural beauty, surrounding walkers in history and in the Belpaese’s most authentic atmosphere. Following on the positive trend for Umbria’s pilgrimage ways ( +33% 2017 over 2016) and cycling routes,  a new series of promotional initiatives is being launched, dedicated to the routes of Italy’s patron saint.  

Celebrating the issue of the new guide to the St. Francis Way, edited by Terre di Mezzo, the cities of Milan, Rome, Padua and Catania, representing the regions that send the greatest number of visitors who walk the spiritual routes have been selected to host initiatives promoting the way.

Influencers and leading names of the specialized communication of the trekking & outdoor sector will be invited to the events, providing moments of dialogue and encounters between experts and those interested in walking in Umbria.
