Representatives from Sviluppumbria, CESAR and a small Umbrian business joined the partners of the InnoCom project from eight European countries in Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 9–10 September. The meeting was organised by Tredea, the economic development agency of the municipality of Trebinje. During the interregional exchange, participants were able to learn about activities supporting local businesses, ranging from incentives to promote entrepreneurship to co-working spaces and innovation centres designed to help small businesses grow.
Sviluppumbria leads the InnoCom partnership, comprising the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (Romania), the University of Latvia, the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica (Slovenia), the Hauts-de-France Region (France), Carlow County Council (Ireland), the Zemgale Planning Region (Latvia), the Trebinje City Development Agency (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the Municipality of Voznesensk (Ukraine).
The Umbria Region participates as an associated partner, in its capacity as the body responsible for the 2021-27 ERDF Operational Programme.
InnoCom is co-funded by the European Union (ERDF) through the Interreg Europe programme with a total budget of €1.6 million for the period 2023-2027.
