Starting in the summer, those flying between Perugia and London can choose British Airways. The airline has just announced that starting on 2 July it will connect Heathrow and the San Francesco d’Assisi airport. Flights will depart on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with fares starting at £40.
Perugia was assessed in part on the basis of its strategic location, halfway between Florence and Rome.
UK travellers currently are served by Ryanair’s London Stansted – Perugia route.
