Umbria Aerospace Cluster at the Aerospace & Defense Meeting. Councillor Fioroni and President Michela Sciurpa visit the stand

Umbria Aerospace Cluster in the spotlight at the Aerospace & Defense Meeting at the Lingotto in Turin, an important showcase for Umbrian companies.

The Umbria Aerospace Cluster (UAC) was an important presence at the Lingotto in Turin for the Aerospace & Defense Meeting, from 30 November to 2 December, an important showcase for Umbrian companies and an event that aims to give a clear signal to relaunch the centrality and direct comparison with the main stakeholders of the sector. The Umbrian Cluster, supported by the regional institutions, will be present at the meeting with 16 companies, 14 of which in the central stand: Angelantoni Test Technologies, Cbl Electronics, Co.Me.Ar, Eltrev, Fomap, Fucine Umbre, Garofoli, Ncm, Oma, Rampini, Rf Microtech, Temis, Test Industry - Bimal, Umbragroup, and another 2 with company stands, Asterisco Tech and Umbria Aerospace Systems.

A strategic moment of visibility and, above all, a return to real networking meetings," says Daniele Tonti, President of the Umbria Aerospace Cluster, "fundamental for recovering business areas and new markets, as well as applying collaborative logics of shared development, thus allowing companies to restart after the serious crisis that the aerospace sector has gone through due to the pandemic.

The Regional Councillor for Economic Development, Michele Fioroni, and the president of Sviluppumbria, Michela Sciurpa, visited the stand and had the opportunity to exchange views with the companies present and meet the main Italian regional clusters in order to share objectives with a view to the Italian system.

“This was an important opportunity for discussion to support the activities of the Umbria Aerospace Cluster," said Councillor Michele Fioroni, "along a chain of activities with institutional partnerships, developing joint innovation and research projects aimed at enhancing the special features of a technologically highly specialised sector that is recognised both in Italy and internationally.”

“Sviluppumbria supports the participation of the Umbria Aerospace Cluster in national and international events and," says Sviluppumbria's president, Michela Sciurpa, "intends, in agreement with the Umbria Region, to promote the organization in the region of a synergistic meeting with the other national aerospace districts and clusters.”
