NEXTAPPENNINO: Sviluppumbria, new support desk in Norcia to facilitate access to NRRP complementary fund

23 August 2022

PRESS RELEASE

NextAppennino: Sviluppumbria, in collaboration with the Municipality of Norcia, inaugurates a new Territorial Desk to support businesses and facilitate access to the resources of the NRRP complementary fund for the earthquake areas.

As of Tuesday, 23 August, a new territorial support desk in Norcia is operational at DigiPASS (in via Solferino), to provide assistance free of charge to businesses and potential beneficiaries of the facilities provided by the Complementary Fund to the NRRP for the areas damaged by the 2009 and 2016 earthquakes in Central Italy under the NextAppennino programme.

The desk, managed by Sviluppumbria with dedicated staff specially trained by Invitalia, will flank those already present at the Development Agency's offices in Foligno, Terni and Perugia with the aim of promoting and facilitating access to the resources provided by Macromeasure B of the program.

Sviluppumbria, in agreement with Invitalia, will, thrugh its offices and at the Norcia desk, provide information, guidance and technical-management assistance activities in the implementation of sub-measures B1 "Investment support" and B3 "Environmental enhancement, circular economy and rubble cycle."

The CEO of Sviluppumbria emphasizes how important the synergy between public institutions and private actors in the area is in order to take full advantage of the extraordinary opportunity that the NextAppennino program represents for the economic revitalization of the crater areas as a driver of development in our region. With the opening of this desk, Sviluppumbria strengthens its proximity to businesses and ensures the closest collaboration with the Structure of the Extraordinary Commissioner for Reconstruction. The Agency increasingly qualifies as a point of reference for businesses capable of supporting projects consistent with the needs of the territory.

NextAppennino is the program articulated into 10 calls, managed centrally by Unioncamere and Invitalia, which addresses multiple types of investment of micro, small, medium and large enterprises, with particular attention to those with operational headquarters in the crater and damaged by the earthquake, operating in different sectors, and reflecting the major objectives of the national NRRP and the Next Generation EU: environmental transition, the enhancement of artistic, environmental and cultural heritage, local production, social inclusion, employment of young people and women, and the circular economy.

The summary sheet, forms and reference regulations for each individual call for proposals are available on the  Nextappennino.gov.it portal and at Sviluppumbria.it. Applications for each measure can be submitted from 15 September until 15 October, 2022. Exceptions are the call for large investments, which will remain open from 1 to 30 September, and the call for partnership initiatives for the enhancement of public assets, which will be open from 30 September until 31 October, 2022.
