THE GUARDIAN: Three of Italy’s ten most beautiful walking trails cross Umbria

24 July 2020

The Via di Benedetto (the Saint Benedict Way), the Via Romea Germanica, and the Cammino nelle Terre Mutate (the Way in the Changed Lands): these Umbrian routes are included in the list of the 10 most beautiful walking trails in Italy, according to an article in the English newspaper The Guardian. Umbria is awarded particular attention for the number of routes in our region, a sign that the investment in promoting so-called slow tourism is paying off and represents a great recognition for the whole Umbria.

The same journalist, Liz Boulter, walked the Via di Francesco in 2019 and published an entire article about that experience.
