Solidarity Coworking inaugurated in Bastia Umbra with the collaboration of Sviluppumbria S.p.A and the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of the Province of Perugia

At the premises in Via Cesare Battisti, during the inauguration of the solidarity Coworking - a space opened by the Municipality of Bastia Umbra with a view to employment policies, to offer a new work opportunity to new Start-Ups, young people, entrepreneurs, artisans, businesses, and professionals - the Memorandum of Understanding between the Municipality of Bastia Umbra and Sviluppumbria S.p.A. was signed by the Mayor and the CEO of the Regional Agency for Economic Development.

The agreement provides for the activation of an information desk dedicated to the world of work and to the dissemination of new opportunities to promote and relaunch work and self-employment opportunities in Umbria through individual or collective meetings with entrepreneurs, professionals, women, and young people interested in developing their own business project. Guidance, information and accompaniment services on regional facilitative measures to support the creation and development of local enterprises will be available at the desk.

"The operational start-up of the solidarity coworking in the Municipality of Bastia Umbra is a concrete example of the added value that institutional collaboration can bring to local development," said Sviluppumbria's CEO. "Co-designing, listening, and networking are the values that guide the work of the Umbria Region's Economic Development Agency and that also inspire a space like this one, which is geared to the sharing of skills and the strengthening of public-private synergy. I am very pleased to see the realisation of this project, which Sviluppumbria has supported from the very first phase of its conception, in the hope that it will contribute to the emergence and enhancement of new professional skills and talents for the relaunch of the territory.

A collaboration that, together with the protocol already signed with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of the Province of Perugia, sees the opening of two desks within the solidarity Coworking of Bastia Umbra at the service of citizens. "This signing," notes the President of the Order, "is the first in the Umbrian municipalities, important in this particular social economic context, to inform individuals and businesses, to spread financial education in secondary schools, and to facilitate and support workers and economic operators. A specialised support that by telephone appointment will guarantee initial orientation information on fiscal, administrative, commercial matters".

"The opportunity offered by the Municipality of Bastia is to make available a physical space with a view to economic and innovative development in support of the economic growth of the city of Bastia Umbra, to also share a working activity marked by solidarity, collaboration, social relations, as a concrete and functional response to economic and social problems,” says the Mayor. “Strong support for the city and the territory thanks to Sviluppumbria and the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of the Province of Perugia for their support, information and guidance to businesses and individuals.
