Cannara, press conference on the development path of the former Ferro industrial complex

The municipality of Cannara organized and convened a press conference, held today at 11:30 am at the San Sebastiano Auditorium in Cannara to present the development path concerning the former Ferro industrial complex.

One of the speakers at the press conference was Sviluppumbria’s Managing Director Mauro Agostini, who stated that “for Sviluppumbria, having Silam srl - Gruppo Tacconi in the former Ferro industrial complex satisfies two objectives: exploiting a public resource, and so moving forward with the plan to rationalize and reduce costs in line with our commitment to the Region, while also taking concrete steps to promote and support local economic development. With this contract, the result of a public-private joint path, a significant and important opportunity for the territory has been opened.”

Also taking part in the press conference were Luca Tacconi, Sole Administrator of Silam srl, who laid out the development prospects of this Gruppo Tacconi initiative, Cannara’s mayor Fabrizio Gareggia and the President of the Regione Umbria Catiuscia Marini, who expressed their great satisfaction in the outcome.
