BIOECO Project event: green procurement to leverage development of the bioeconomy sector

An “awareness event” of the European project BIO ECOnomy Research Driven Innovation (BIOECO R.D.I) will be held on 7 December as part of the regional event ECOFORUM - 2nd Edition. ECOFORUM is promoted by Legambiente Umbria and will focus on the topic of the circular economy.
Sviluppumbria will make a presentation “BIOECO Project: green procurement to leverage development for the Bioeconomy sector”, contributing to the discussions on environmental, regulatory and economic aspects that affect the lives of citizens and businesses.
The opportunities for overall growth in the bioeconomy sector arising from the development of “green procurement” by public administrations (GPP) and the spread of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) in production processes, management, research and development and in the design of new products and services will be highlighted.
BIOECO R.D.I. is part of the European Adrion programme and aims to develop the bio-economy sector in the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region.
