Familiarization Trip in Umbria for German Tour Operators

Sviluppumbria has organized a “fam trip” (a visit to create familiarization and awareness) to promote Umbria and its tourism operators. The trip will bring tourist package buyers from Germany directly to sites in Umbria.

The fam trip was arranged to allow the participants to discover the entire Umbrian territory and its accommodations, travel agencies and providers of tourism services, as well as cultural and eno-gastronomic attractions. The participants, from different cities in Germany, are specialized in travel packages for study, group travel, religious visits, and tourism on foot and by bike.

The high point of the fam trip is the workshop with Umbrian tourism operators, held 22 May 2016 in Perugia. The trip, continuing through 25 May, aims to multiply the chances for direct contact and exchange between the German visitors and their Umbrian counterparts.
