GIURI: Synergies event

Starting from the work that the Commission has started to create stronger synergies between the new Horizon Europe R&I programme and the European Structural and Investment Funds, GIURI - Informal Group of Italian Representative Offices in Brussels, through its synergies working group and in collaboration with URC - Coordination of the offices of the Italian Regions and Autonomous Provinces in Brussels - organised an operational meeting on 17 September with the aim of illustrating the opportunities related to the new regulations, the different possible forms of synergies envisaged and the various aspects related to the effective implementation of synergies.

The aim of the meeting was to identify the critical points, discuss possible solutions and operational methods and contribute proactively, with the involvement of all stakeholders and those directly involved, to the construction of the mechanisms that will subsequently allow coherent and effective inclusion in the national and regional Operational Programmes of the necessary tools to make synergies operational.
