The future of Umbria’s San Francesco d'Assisi international airport

In the presence of the new Regional Transport Councillor Enrico Melasecche, a meeting was held in the conference room of the San Francesco d'Assisi Airport on the theme of the tourism and economic impact that airport transport can have on the regional territory. Professor Ugo Arrigo, Professor of Economics, Politics and Public Finance at the University of Milan-Bicocca, spoke. The presence of an expert from academia is another important sign of the interest that Umbria’s regional airport is gaining on a national and international level.
Other speakers included the Chairman and the Directors of SASE, which manages the airport.
Some Umbrian tourism professionals also attended.
