Chiara Dall'Aglio, Lead Partner at Sviluppumbria, shares some insights->
Sviluppumbria is lead partner in InnoCom, a four-year project funded by Interreg Europe (ERDF) with a total budget of 1.6 M€. The project partnership consists of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (RO), University of Latvia, Ivančna Gorica Municipality (SI), Hauts de France Region (FR), Carlow County Council (IE), Zemgale Planning Region (LV), Trebinje City Development Agency (BiH), and Voznesensk Municipality (UA).
The Umbria Region partecipates as an Associated policy authority, responsible for the ERDF PO 2021-27 policy.
The technical language used by public agencies can be a barrier to understanding their content and thus to accessing opportunities. To help SMEs, the Umbria Region tested innovative means of communicating with SMEs during the COVID emergency, based on a participatory approach, two-way exchange of information, involvement of beneficiaries in the development process, and investment in self-explanatory video tools.
