18 - 21 November 2025

Sviluppumbria and the Umbria Region host InnoCom meeting

Around 50 representatives of the partners and stakeholders of the Interreg Europe InnoCom project will participate in the interregional exchange meeting, being held in Umbria from November 18 to 21, 2025.
The group will take part in numerous opportunities to exchange experiences with the aim of learning how Sviluppumbria and other Umbrian institutions provide support to SMEs in the region. The president of the Umbria Region, Stefania Proietti, and the sole administrator of Sviluppumbria, Luca Ferrucci, will open the proceedings on November 19.
The program of study visits includes stops in Perugia, Bevagna, and Foligno, to allow participants to hear directly from companies their experiences with support services, and to learn more about innovative businesses.
Following the guidelines issued by the Interreg Europe secretariat, Sviluppumbria has organized a green event: signage and printed material will be kept to a minimum, vegetarian meals will be served using local ingredients, and compostable materials will be used for coffee breaks. The group will visit the sites in Perugia on foot and by minimetrò.
The November meeting is the final event of the core phase of InnoCom, during which partners have studied best practices and know-how. Thanks to this experience, the public administrations that make up the partnership have improved their policy instruments, facilitating SMEs' access to business support and financing.
Sviluppumbria leads InnoCom, a four-year project funded by Interreg Europe (ERDF) with a total budget of €1.6 million. The project partnership consists of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (RO), the University of Latvia, the Hauts-de-France Region (FR), Carlow County Council (IE), the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica (SI), the Zemgale Planning Region (LV), the Development Agency of the City of Trebinje (BiH), and the Voznesensk City Council (UA).
