Creatività per la sostenibilità (Creativity for sustainability):  this is the title chosen for the event organized by Sviluppumbria, with the collaboration of Arpa, the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Perugia to be held on 8 Sept. as part of the Festival Isola Prossima on Polvese Island. 

The meeting aims to delineate a path from the way we perceive reality, through creativity and imagination, to an understanding of the classic principles of eco-design, in order to develop critical thinking that can embrace not only the ecological but also the social and cultural dimensions of sustainability. The event is planned for 8 Sept. at 11 a.m., for more information visit  www.isolaprossima.it.  Speakers will include Michela Sciurpa – CEO of Sviluppumbria Spa and Maddalena Vantaggi - Designer and trainer, researcher in creativity and design for sustainability, professor of eco-design at the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia. Note that the event will be conducted in Italian.

Maddalena Vantaggi - Designer and trainer, researcher in creativity and design for sustainability, professor of eco design at the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.

11:30 a.m. Multidisciplinary Design for the Sustainability Hub

The winners of the Call for Ideas launched by Sviluppumbria in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Perugia and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Perugia will present their Project.

Student design team: Alessio Morelli, Arianna Donzella, Davide Angeletti, Francesco Angelilli, Giovanni Boco, Giovanni Zicci, Rebecca Rossi, Veronica Tognoloni.
