The Umbria Region took part in the sixteenth edition of “Fa' la cosa Giusta” (Do the right thing) in Milan from 8 to 10 March 2019 at FieraMilanoCity. The collaboration between public bodies and civil society has made the green heart of Italy the main destination and crossroads of the most famous and beloved paths of Italy: from Benedict's Way to the Via di Francesco, from the Via Romea Germanica to the Via Amerina and the Via Lauretana.
During the fair, walking and cycling routes will be presented, for visitors to discover Umbria and its villages sustainably and with low environmental impact. The Umbria stand will host representatives from the region’s tour operators and producers.
The Via Romea Germanica will be featured. Thanks to the participatory approach and synergy between institutions and civil society, the Umbria Region, Sviluppumbria, Gal Trasimeno Orvietano, the municipalities crossed by the route and the Via Romea Germanica Association have developed a route with signs, support points, services and accommodations. Representatives of the Via Romea Germanica association will present the beauties and highlights of this international journey.
