Umbria is the ideal destination for family holidays: a lively and hospitable territory. There are so many experiences and proposals for spending time with friends, having fun and being together. Games, workshops, shows, readings and surprising encounters to accompany young visitors on their discovery of the green heart of Italy. The Gnefro, the elf of the Valnerina, tells children the legend of the love between the shepherd Velino and the nymph Nera, a mythological tale that, starting from the Marmore Falls, explains the close link between water, the nature of the place and the magic of the territory. An expert entomologist teaches the art of building houses for bees and insects to learn first-hand the importance of biological control and biodiversity protection. Another surprise on the stand are the comics of Pimpa, the little red-spotted dog from the pencil of Altan, who wanders around the National Gallery of Umbria proposing a journey through Umbrian art history among the paintings of Perugino and other artists. An exceptional guide able to bring younger visitors closer to art.
