Umbria is ready to meet the world at BIT - BORSA INTERNAZIONALE DEL TURISMO 2024
2023 has been a vibrant and crucial year for Umbria's tourism sector, especially on the incoming front. The tourism market energetically contributes to Umbria's economic development and helps support employment by creating jobs for young people capable of adapting to the new challenges of the sector. These issues will find ample space in the 2024 edition of BIT, where Umbria, with a high-profile space, is ready to encounter international operators, to seize innovative opportunities and strong of a wide offer appreciated by Italian and foreign tourists.
The Umbria Region will be at BIT in Milan from 4 to 6 February, with an exhibition space of 300+ square meters, curated and managed by Sviluppumbria. The Umbria stand will host 21 co-exhibitors, representatives of the regional tourism offer, ready to meet business partners.
Other institutions such as the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria, the San Francesco d'Assisi Umbria International Airport, Coldiretti Umbria, the Agriculture Department of the Umbria Region and the National Gallery of Umbria will also be present at the fair.
About 37,000 attendees are expected at the 44th edition of BIT with tourism professionals from more than 110 countries including 7,500 accredited buyers with the United States, Germany, Argentina, Spain and Canada as the top markets.
