London newspapers focus on Assisi: 2 articles in the pages of The Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday

Umbria is again on the pages of London newspapers.

The Daily Mail (circulation ca 800,000) and its sister publication, The Mail on Sunday (circulation ca 670,000) have recently published articles focused on Assisi. Timed to coincide with the opening of the exhibition Saint Francis of Assisi at the prestigious National Gallery of London, the articles examine St. Francis’ artistic and cultural legacy in today’s Assisi, and the town’s many charms.
