Sviluppumbria and the Municipality of Bastia Umbra meet: new collaboration for united coworking

A meeting with the Mayor of Bastia Umbra, Paola Lungarotti, Councillors Valeria Morettini and Daniela Brunelli, and Michela Sciurpa, President of Sviluppumbria, along with some of the agency's staff took place recently.

"The creation of unity to work together in the area as an integration of skills, sharing common goals for the economic growth of the territory, already present in the mandate program of this Administration, finds support and synergy in Sviluppumbria's concrete policy of supporting economic activities with appropriate tools, creating a network of skills between the public and private sectors in European planning, innovation and tourism promotion," said Mayor Paola Lungarotti.

“Sviluppumbria's strategic repositioning," said President Michela Sciurpa, "involves a presence to communicate and listen closely to the needs of entrepreneurs and the local government. Sviluppumbria's new operations move along economic development trajectories that include innovation, internationalization, investment activation, and tourism promotion. Bastia is strategic for its logistical position, also considering its proximity to Umbria International Airport and the Umbriafiere exposition centre".

After the fruitful meeting at the Bastia Umbra town hall, the participants visited a location that could potentially host the United Coworking starting in the autumn, and which will house a Sviluppumbria desk.

Mayor Lungarotti, on behalf of the Municipal Administration of Bastia Umbra, expressed her sincere thanks to the top management of Sviluppumbria, and first and foremost to Dr. Sciurpa, for networking and supporting local entrepreneurs.

This appointment is also part of the systematic dialogue that the Regional Agency for Economic Development is building with the territory in order to establish a climate of collaboration and shorten the distances with companies, municipalities, and business associations.
