Metstrade 2023: Umbria Nautical Cluster with Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria at International Boat Show

With the support of the Umbria Region, the Umbria Nautical Cluster is present in Amsterdam inside the Superyacht Pavilion with an exhibition booth curated by Umbria’s Economic Development Agency.
The Metstrade fair takes place in Amsterdam from 15-17 November 2023, and is the most important international European trade fair for equipment, materials, systems and services for the maritime industry. Distributors, dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and representatives from the boat building, refurbishment, and design industries meet at Mets to share the best technologies and new products in the marine industry. The fair has 3 specialized pavilions: Superyachts, Marinas and Storage, and Building Materials. The 2023 edition of Metstrade opens under the banner of visitor participation from 116 countries.
Thanks to the ability of Umbrian companies to introduce innovation in their production processes, the nautical cluster is an expanding reality that, also with the support of regional calls, guarantees high quality and technological standards widely appreciated by the international market. Made in Umbria today boasts a recognized capacity for innovation related to research and development activities also in the energy transition sector, which is one of the central themes of the 2023 edition of Metstrade. The Umbria Nautical Cluster is chaired by Giorgio Rellini.
The Italian Ambassador Netherlands, Giorgio Novello made an institutional visit to the Umbria Nautical Cluster stand on Wednesday 15 November, together with the CEO of Sviluppumbria Michela Sciurpa, the Umbria Region's Councillor for Economic Development, Michele Fioroni, and other distinguished guests.
The work of 'co-design' was much appreciated, as a concrete example of public-private collaboration essential to support the competitiveness of Umbrian excellence, uniting all the skills in the area with the aim of ensuring a strong presence in international markets.
