Inauguration of Nera river cycle route from Sant'Anatolia di Narco to the Marmore Falls

On Saturday 29th August, the Nera river cycle route was ceremonially opened. Attending were regional councillors Paola Agabiti and Enrico Melesecche, the sole administrator of Sviluppumbria Michela Sciurpa, the president of BIM Nera and Velino Egildo Spada, the mayors of the towns crossed by the path, and many cycling enthusiasts of Spoleto - Norcia in MTB.

The route in the Valnerina is an important element for the development and promotion of the entire network of slow tourism in Umbria, contributin to the development of a sustainable economy and seasonally adjusted tourist flows.

Sviluppumbria pursues the objective of making Umbria the destination of excellence of slow tourism of walking and cycling, in synergy with and offering support to all actors and stakeholders in the area: institutions, businesses, trade associations, local communities, and religious institutions.
