Projects for the internationalization of MSMEs - Simplification

ERDF ROP 2014-2020 Axis III Action 3.3.1

“Export promotion projects for enterprises and their aggregate forms identified on a territorial or sectoral basis”

There is a measure to promote the simplification of the procedures for the implementation and reporting of projects carried out even partially in the Covid-19 case in respect of public notices relating to support for the internationalisation of the Umbrian MSMEs, Action 3.3.1 of the ERDF ROP 2014-2020, in application of DGR 163/2020 and DD 3506/2020 of the Umbria Region.

The measure concerns 4 Public Notices related to support for internationalization of Umbrian SMEs that Sviluppumbria is managing procedurally as Intermediate Body of Action 3.3.1 of the ERDF ROP 2014-2020, specifically:

1.     Public Notice for participation in international trade fairs 2019
2.     Public Notice for the granting of vouchers for the activation of consulting services in support of internationalization - 2018
3.     Public notice for the granting of grants to MSMEs for participation in international missions
4.     Public notice for participation in international trade fairs 2019-2020 with application of Simplified Costs

The explosion of the health emergency, which began in January of this year, has led to changes, and in some cases even upheaval, in the internationalization projects presented by Umbrian companies under these Notices. Moreover, the worsening of the pandemic at international level is causing substantial economic damage to the regional business system in terms of export difficulties, cancellation of orders from domestic and foreign customers, production stoppages in implementation of government decrees, cancellation or movement of Fairs or international events with consequent loss of costs incurred.

Having said all this, in order to mitigate the economic impact on Umbrian SMEs deriving from the health emergency and in application of DGR 163/2020 and DD 3506/2020, Sviluppumbria is adopting a measure within the management of existing Public Notices.
