Great success for the presentation of the volume L’Umbria di San Benedetto di Norcia e San Francesco di Assisi Immagini di un cammino artistico e devoto on the occasion of the Benedictine Celebrations. A very important moment for the city of Norcia, which on 25 Feb. 2023, celebrated the lighting of the Benedictine torch Pro Pace et Europa Una and simultaneously inaugurated the 59th edition of the Nero Norcia event.

CEO Michela Sciurpa, spoke at the meeting of the authenticity and depth of the work, which retraces the history and steps of Benedict and Francis, extraordinary sons of this land, delivering to the public a fundamental symbol of our region.

Words of appreciation from the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida and Commissioner Guido Castelli, who appreciated the work carried out in close collaboration with the Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria under the Nextappennino program.

Participating in the book presentation along with Dr. Sciurpa were President of the Umbria Region Donatella Tesei; Nicola Alemanno, Mayor of the Municipality of Norcia; Stefano Ansideri, President of Umbriafiere; Guido Castelli, Extraordinary Commissioner for Earthquake Reconstruction 2016; Enzo Salera, Mayor of the Municipality of Cassino; Domenico Petrini, Mayor of the Municipality of Subiaco; and Fabio Marcelli author of the volume.
