Green Tourism Project

The Green Tourism Project aims to develop, strengthen and promote the regional territory as a slow, sustainable holiday destination with a low environmental impact

In fact, the Green Heart of Italy is a claim that is backed not only by unpolluted landscapes and a fine environment, but also by projects and green services, capable of offering experiences and stays that blend with the territory.

Green Tourism is, therefore, a container of specific projects, partly dedicated to itineraries and slow holidays, and partly to new, sustainable products.

The main projects in progress, implemented since 2008 and now included in Green Tourism, are the Via di Francesco and Cycle Tourism and include the projects Lands of the Duke, Weddings, Villas and Gardens, the Walk of the Franciscan Protomartyrs, Moon in June. All the initiatives are accompanied by specific actions of communication, such as #AlTrasimeno (a social media tour for innovative communication regarding Lake Trasimeno) and video for EpicTV (cycle-tourism and sport).
