European project Bio-Eco RDI: meeting in Terni on 2 - 3 July to discuss the bioeconomy

The second meeting of the European project BIO-ECO R.D.I. is taking place in Terni on 2-3 July, bringing together partners from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Albania and Serbia. 

Sviluppumbria, as project leader, will host its partners who will compare the results achieved by the SWOT analysis in the bioeconomy sector, conducted in recent months by each partner in its own territory. The goal is to discuss the results and outline future strategies to be implemented in each geographical area of the project.

 

Bioeco  R.D. I. is financed under the European programme Interreg Adrion and aims to develop the bioeconomy sector in the Adriatic-Ionic macro-region through the definition of regional and interregional cooperation strategies.  The project is based on three main pillars: technology transfer in the green chemistry sector, trans-sectoral integration among green chemistry clusters and agro-industry, and transnational integration among clusters and companies at different levels of technological and entrepreneurial maturity.
