Prominent Med project presented in Brussels

The challenges, activities and results of the Prominent Med project were presented in Brussels during the 2019 edition of the European Week of Cities and Regions, a key annual event for networking and sharing experiences about EU Regional Policy. Project partner Ivan Šimić of the Regional Energy Agency North presented “Experiences of PPI in small Mediterranean municipalities”.

Prominent Med is a project led by Sviluppumbria and financed by the Interreg Mediterranean programme. Its nine partners from 5 European countries study and conduct trials on the use of Public Procurement of Innovation procedures (PPI) to stimulate the adoption of new services and products that can improve the quality of services offered to citizens.
