Prominent Med

Prominent MED aims to promote the use of innovative procurement procedures in small municipalities in the Mediterranean area.

It focuses on the use of Public Procurement of Innovation procedures (PPI) to stimulate the adoption of new services and products that can improve the quality of services offered to citizens.

PPI will be applied to the research and development of innovative technological systems and solutions in the field of energy efficiency in public buildings.

The project brings together partners from Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Croatia, with Sviluppumbria as lead partner.

Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Italy will activate a total investment of 800.00 euros for the adoption of technological solutions aimed at the energy efficiency of public buildings.

In Italy, the pilot investment will be implemented in the Gianni Rodari nursery school in Narni Scalo and will focus on the application of innovative solutions for seismic adaptation, energy saving and improvement of the teaching environment.

In November 2017 a preliminary market consultation procedure was activated, pursuant to Article 66 of Legislative Decree no. 50/2016, aimed at identifying the technical specifications object of the tender open to the interested economic operators.

The total budget of Prominent MED is € 2,697,049.00
