Promoting Umbria to the Spanish market

As part of its role to promote tourism on behalf of the Region, Sviluppumbria has recently taken part in two initiatives targeting the Spanish market and organized with ENIT Madrid.

During a webinar for an audience of tourism professionals, travel agents and travel journalists, Sviluppumbria illustrated our region’s attractions. Traditionally, most Spanish visitors came to Umbria to see places associated with San Francesco and other saints, but they are increasingly attracted by our region’s wealth of cultural and natural attractions.

In addition, an article on Umbria and its history, culture and traditions has just been published in the prestigious National Geographic Viajes (print edition, with a circulation of about 25,000). Click to see the article
