On 15 and 16 December 2021 the Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria participated remotely in the Programming Committee Meeting of the Interreg Europe programme, which was held online and in presence in Bled, Slovenia, with the aim of discussing, debating, sharing and approving the programming documents necessary for the implementation of the European interregional cooperation programme for the period 2021-27.
The main objective of Interreg Europe is to promote the exchange of good practices and experiences in policy implementation between European regions.
The Umbria Region, as the National Contact Point of the programme, has the role of offering assistance for the development, presentation, evaluation and management of projects, which it monitors at the national level.
Sviluppumbria carries out technical assistance activities for the Region, in particular for the management phases of the programme, both with respect to the Italian interlocutors (regions, DpCoe, Cohesion Agency, beneficiaries), and to the European programme Joint Secretariat.
