Sviluppumbria, Gepafin, PTA -3A, S.A.S.E. and UmbriaFiere together to support Umbria's economic development

The relaunch of Umbria requires a strong synergistic approach from all players in the region. It is with this in mind that Sviluppumbria's President Michela Sciurpa has begun discussions with the regional companies and agencies in which Sviluppumbria holds strategic and functional investments to support the competitiveness of the local economic system. The objective, in line with the indications of the Umbria Region, is to initiate for the first time a strong operational collaboration among the Agency for Regional Economic Development, the Regional Finance Company, the Agri-Food Technology Park of Umbria, the San Francesco di Assisi Airport and UmbriaFiere, enhancing with joint projects the wide range of opportunities and skills that these companies can bring together to serve the territory and businesses.
The first meeting, called by Sviluppumbria on 10 December, was attended by the heads of all the companies in which Sviluppumbria has an interest: Dr. Carmelo Campagna, President of GEPAFIN, Dr. Marcello Serafini, Sole Director of PTA-3A, General Stefano Panato, President of SASE, and Dr. Lazzaro Bogliari, President of UmbriaFiere, who, together with Dr. Sciurpa, fully shared the objective of creating synergies and pursuing new methods of collaboration.
Many topics were on the table: simplification, standardisation and streamlining of procedures, raising the quality of services, pooling of reciprocal expertise to better manage the functions and real estate structures owned by the individual companies, shared planning and integration of operational tools and, last but not least, the building of innovative partnerships with the regional entrepreneurial fabric and the planning of joint initiatives for European and international funds.
A new season of collaboration has thus begun between Sviluppumbria and the companies in which it holds an interest, bringing them together in synergy in order to mutually strengthen each other and, above all, achieve new development goals for the region.
