SHARE kick off meeting online

15 September 2021

The Interreg Europe project SHARE, which received funding for a further year of activities dedicated to COVID recovery and resilience strategies for cultural heritage sites and events, held its online kick-off meeting today.

Participants were welcomed by Michela Sciurpa, Sviluppumbria's CEO, and Paolo Reboani, Umbria Region's manager for the programming and coordination of EU and national funds.

The extension of the project includes a year of active work, which will research and share good practices to keep cultural heritage assets and events sustainable and accessible in the post-COVID era.

The partnership includes the Regional Government of Extremadura (ES), the North-East Regional Development Agency (RO), the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Pannon (HU) and the City of Šibenik (HR); the research activities will be led by the University of Greenwich (UK) and the project leader is Sviluppumbria.

The SHARE extension project, financed by ERDF, has a total budget of 370,380.70 €.
