Single Market Programme 2021-2027: green light to €4.2 billion in support of the single market

Bando

On 28 April, the first single market program was adopted, with a budget of 4.2 billion euros for the period 2021-2027. The new program contains a series of integrated measures aimed at supporting and strengthening governance of the single market, including for financial services. The new program also includes a specific budget in order to boost the single market. The European Union intends for this measure to encourage a better application of EU law and to promote the competitiveness of SMEs, in particular through the Enterprise Europe Network and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program, which it supports. The Regulation will be published in the coming days in the Official Journal of the EU and will apply retroactively from 1 January 2021. Learn more.
