Umbria at TTG Travel Experience Fair in Rimini

The celebration, presided over by Tourism Minister Massimo Garavaglia, was a confirmation of the importance of the tourism economic sector in Italy, marking the restart of world tourism in a climate of proven confidence on the part of operators and the public.

TTG Travel Experience is the Italian event of reference for the promotion of world tourism in Italy and for the marketing of the tourism offer in the world. The exhibition hosts operators from all over the world, key players from the main companies in the sector: tourism boards, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, transport, accommodation facilities, tourism services, technology and innovative solutions. It is a single marketplace to stimulate business and networking opportunities between tourism product suppliers and distributors in Italy and abroad.

The 2021 edition has a full calendar of events, including a specific focus on the employment of women in the tourism sector and on issues related to social and environmental sustainability.

International operators and buyers will be able to participate both in person and online.

Sviluppumbria, on behalf of the Umbria Region, is organizing the regional presence, which is financed through action 8.7.1. of the Co-financing Fund for the tourist offer POR - FESR 2014-2020. The stand: 216 square meters in a central position hosts 27 operators representing the entire territory. Itineraries, landscape, wine tourism, nature, culture and major events are the themes linked to the regional tourism offer at the fair. Aggregations of municipalities, a real novelty of the 2021 edition, will present the offer of six individual territories: Orvieto, Campello sul Clitunno, Gualdo Tadino, Narni, Corciano and Assisi.
