 Umbria e-mobility Network attends VTM in Turin, the international business convention dedicated to automotive and transport sectors

Umbria e-mobility Network, the first network of Umbrian companies operating in the sustainable mobility sector, participated, thanks to the support of the Umbria Region and Sviluppumbria, in the VTM - Vehicle and Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings in Turin on 26 and 27 March.

At the Cluster's stand, the companies taking part in the event will present their products and innovative technologies developed for the mobility of the future to international customers and operators in the sector.

The business convention in Turin, dedicated to the automotive and transport industry, represents an important international showcase for the network of Umbrian companies operating in the sector of technologies and services for electric mobility.

The presence at VTM will also be an opportunity to discuss ongoing projects with the University of Perugia and to explore new opportunities for collaboration with CIM 4.0 (Competence Industry Manufacturing 4.0) and the Polytechnic of Turin in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and digital applied to electric mobility.

Conceived and promoted by Confindustria Umbria with the technical support of Umbria Export, Umbria Digital Innovation Hub and the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria, the Network aggregates 17 companies and has a consolidated turnover of almost 600 M€ and 2,300 employees. Established in 2022, the Cluster is chaired by Alessio Damiani of Asterisco Tech.

The companies in the network are: Angelantoni Test Technologies, ART, Asterisco Tech, Cimarredi, Eles semiconductor equipment, Emotion, EN4, Faluomi, König Metall GT, Meccanotecnica Umbra, Modulo, Privé, Sitem, Solaredge E-mobility, Synergie Cad Instruments, Terex Italia and Xepics Italia.

Following VTM in Turin, a public meeting will be organised with the Region and Sviluppumbria to present the results of participation in the event.
