WTM in London

The English tourist market has always been of great importance for the Umbria region. The statistical data for the first half of 2019 show an increase in arrivals, compared to the same period last year, of +3.59 bringing Britain to third place, after the United States and Germany, for the presence of foreign tourists in our region.
The promotional effort put in place to maintain the interest in this market has been continuous and has led to important results such as, among others, the recent publication in the newspaper The Guardian of an article by journalist Liz Boulter totally dedicated to the "Via di Francesco".
The promotional action continues this week with the participation in the main tourism fair of Great Britain: WTM in London. The event, taking place at the "Excel" exhibition centre from 4 to 6 November 2019, is one of the most important in the world and the Umbria region is present, along with regional tour operators, with a stand in the Italian pavilion.
These are part of the programme of tourism promotion activities carried out by Sviluppumbria on behalf of the Umbria Region.
