Call for proposals for projects in the performing arts sector - Year 2022

Line of Action "Support for the development of products and services complementary to the enhancement of cultural and natural attractions, including through the integration of enterprises in the tourism, cultural, sporting, creative and entertainment sectors, and in the sectors of typical traditional products, including Umbria Film Commission".

"Call for proposals for projects in the performing arts sector - Year 2022".

The purpose of the action is to support the performing arts sector, with a view to restarting and relaunching the cultural sector in the Umbria Region and to accmpany the launch of the new regional policies on audiovisual and creativity applied to the cultural industry. This notice is a continuation of the activity already started in 2021 with a similar notice.

The following are eligible to apply for assistance under the Notice: companies (MSMEs) as well as entities operating under a business regime, which operate in the performing arts sector and mainly in the fields of: theatre, music, dance and performing arts, circus activities, street artists and puppet theatre.

The grant is equal to 80% of the expenses considered eligible for a project with a maximum amount of € 50,000.00.

The financial resources available amount to a total of € 1,002,597.63, distributed as detailed in the text of the call for proposals.

The project submitted may include a project of production activities or activities of hosting live performances, identified among the following actions

• production and hosting activities of live performances in all its forms (theatre, music, dance and multidisciplinary, which may interact with each other, mixing one genre with the other),
• development of festivals and exhibitions of live entertainment in all its forms (theatre, music, dance and multidisciplinary in character, which may interact with each other, mixing one genre with another),
• projects involving circus activities, street performers, puppet and marionette shows,
• projects relating to the creation of musical ensembles and orchestras, in particular for young people.

Applications can be submitted from 10.00 a.m. on 02/05/2022 until 5.00 p.m. on 31/05/2022 at  http://trasmissione.bandi.regione.umbria.it.
