A notice addressed to SMEs has been published in the Ordinary Supplement n. 5 of the "Bollettino Ufficiale" - General Series - n. 53 of 17 October 2018. The call, under the ERDF ROP 2014-2020 Axis I Action 1.1.1., offers grants for projects of industrial research and experimental development aimed at defining new products and/or processes in the areas of specialization identified by the Research and Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization (RIS 3). The resources put in place by the Region amount to € 8,000,000 of which € 3,000,000 are reserved for companies located in the Terni - Narni Crisis Area.
The support consists of a non-repayable grant calculated relative to the amount of eligible expenses. For micro, small and medium enterprises, a contribution of 60% is envisaged for industrial research and 35% for experimental development. For micro and small enterprises, an increase of 10% is also provided if the project involves collaboration between the enterprise and one or more research and knowledge dissemination bodies, and the bodies bear at least 10% of the eligible costs and have the right to publish the results of their research. For large enterprises, the contribution available will be 50% for industrial research and 25% for experimental development.
The amounts of total expenditure of the project submitted must be between EUR 130,000 and EUR 1,500,000.
Eligible for subsidies are: expenses for research personnel, the cost of instruments based on the depreciation rates linked to the use of the asset, equipment and/or machinery, consultancy services, materials directly attributable to the research activity and general costs.
Applications for grants may be made from 10:00 a.m. on 14 November 2018 until 12:00 noon on 22 January 2019.
