Communiqué from Sviluppumbria about a recent article in Il Messaggero, Umbria edition

On Sunday 27 October Il Messaggero dell’Umbria prominently published the news of a labour dispute between an unspecified subject and Sviluppumbria. The information, evidently obtained on a partisan initiative and without any feedback from Sviluppumbria, is inaccurate and for the most part relates to relations with entities that had nothing to do with Sviluppumbria and much less with the new governance established in June 2013 under President Renzacci and Director Agostini.

It should also be noted, with regard to the astonishing figures reported, that recently the person concerned proposed a transaction for an amount between 20,000 and 30,000 euros. It is certain, however, that the improper pressures underlying the content of the publication in question do not help.

The recovery action and cost containment carried out in recent years have also led to radical choices to protect the company itself. We are certain that Il Messaggero dell’Umbria, which has repeatedly had the opportunity to ascertain and report with objectivity and adherence the results of this action, will be able to appreciate again on this occasion the transparent correctness of the resistance opportunely opposed by the Company to these singular and self-serving partisan initiatives.
