The EEN's new international platform is online to tackle the Covid-19 emergency together

The Enterprise Europe Network, of which Sviluppumbria is the partner for Umbria, has launched the digital platform Care & Industry together against CORONA, a virtual meeting point to:

• bring together requests and offers of innovative solutions;
• share methodologies and knowledge;
• provide an overview of the solutions adopted in each region;
• find partners with whom to build proposals and present ideas for funding on the international calls for proposals on the theme of Coronavirus.

To ensure maximum reliability and to avoid fraud and abuse, the requests and offers published on the platform will be validated by the regional contacts of the EEN network, which has more than 600 partner organisations in over 60 countries.

The platform is free of charge and open to companies, healthcare professionals, hospitals, public or private research centres, universities and all stakeholders.

The thematic areas are all those potentially related to the current and post-crisis emergency: protection and care devices, diagnostics and monitoring, patient management technologies, emergency medicine, laboratory equipment and instruments, hygiene, sterilization and disinfection, therapies, physiotherapies, information and communication technologies, imaging, gaming technologies, leisure, etc.

The aim is to bring together the many global initiatives in response to the health emergency and which might otherwise be fragmented on a regional scale. The proposals included in the platform aim both to provide immediate responses to those in need in the current emergency situation and to support the next, equally crucial, post-crisis phase.

The initiative will remain open until 31 December 2020. We invite all stakeholders to participate in the platform. Sviluppumbria’s EEN staff is available to verify, validate and publish requests and offers, and assist in the management of contacts as needed.
