EEN: European Fund for the Protection of Intellectual Property: "Ideas Powered for Business"

Ideas Powered for Business, a European fund to help SMEs protect their of intellectual property, was launched on 11 January.

The first call for proposals, financed and managed by the European Union's Intellectual Property Office in cooperation with the European Union's COSME programme, is now online.

The EU has earmarked €20 million for European SMEs to reimburse 50% of the basic registration fees. Italian companies will be able to benefit for trademark, design or model applications filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office or the Italian Patent and Trademark Office.
