Interreg Europe InnoCom – Successo per il workshop di co-creazione destinato agli stakeholder dell’ecosistema umbro

Sviluppumbria, lead partner of the InnoCom project, and the Umbria Region, associated olicy authority, organised a co-creation workshop for stakeholders in the Umbrian SME support ecosystem.
The aim was to identify weaknesses in access to financing opportunities by SMEs in the region, and to propose solutions on how to address these weaknesses. The morning meeting was based on the co-creation methodology prepared by the University of Latvia, the project's advisory partner, and began with the presentation of a SWOT analysis and some key results of the SME survey conducted by the University of Perugia.
The meeting, hosted at the headquarters of the Umbria Region, was attended by representatives of the Umbria Region, the Municipality of Perugia, the University of Perugia, Villa Umbra, Confcommercio, Confindustria, the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria, Europe Direct, the Enterprise Europe Network, ANCI and some SMEs.
The process is a collaborative and participatory exercise that facilitates creative thinking, with the aim of stimulating the emergence of new solutions and ideas.
The co-creation work will continue in a second meeting to be scheduled soon. Other SMEs and others working in support of SMEs are invited to participate; for more information, please contact project leader Chiara Dall'Aglio (c.dallaglio@sviluppumbria.it).
InnoCom's objective is to improve the way institutions communicate to disseminate information on European calls for proposals so that, by ensuring a level playing field, even less experienced entrepreneurs can access the funding opportunities they are entitled to. Sviluppumbria leads the InnoCom partnership, made up of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (Romania), the University of Latvia, the Municipality of Ivacna Gorica (Slovenia), the Hauts-de-France Region (France), Carlow County Council (Ireland) and the Zemgale Planning Region (Latvia). The Umbria Region is participating as an associated partner as the responsible party for the ERDF OP 2021-27.
InnoCom is co-financed by the European Union (ERDF) through the Interreg Europe programme with a total budget of EUR 1,511,394 for the period 2023-2027.
The technical language used by public authorities can be an obstacle to understanding their content and thus to approaching opportunities. To help SMEs, the Umbria Region tested innovative means of communicating with SMEs during the COVID emergency, based on a participatory approach, the two-way exchange of information, the involvement of beneficiaries in the development process and the investment in self-explanatory video tools.
