As part of the NERO NORCIA 2018 food and wine exhibition, the meeting “Opportunities abroad for SMEs in the territory of Norcia” will be held on 23 February at 9:15 a. m.
Participants will include Nicola Alemanno, Mayor of Norcia, Pietro Celi, Head of Territorial Activities for the Ministry of Economic Development, Antonino Laspina, Director of the office for Marketing Coordination of ICE, Andrea Nasini, President of the Order of Accountants, Perugia, Mauro Agostini, Director of Sviluppumbria, Enzo Faloci, Director of Umbria Export, Luigi Rossetti, Director of Produtive Activities and Fabio Paparelli, Vice President of the Umbria Region.
A workshop, “Culture and values of the prized black truffle of Norcia”, organized by the Città del Tartufo association, will follow. It will be moderated by Antonella Brancadoro, with presentations by Michela Boscagli, Città del Tartufo president, Maurizio Marello Mayor of Alba, Giuliano Boccanera, Councillor for Economic Development for Norcia.
Nero Norcia, started in the 50s, is the agri-food festival to promote and enhance the typical food, wine and craft products of excellence.
Now in its fifty-fifth edition, Nero Norcia 2018, revolves around the Black Truffle of Norcia (Tuber Melanosporum Vittadini), but also explores the history, taste and cuisine of this extraordinary product of the earth, with opportunities to analyse and discuss highly relevant topics for our especially of Valnerina. The three weekends of the event will have a specific focus, with round tables of experts and moments of dialogue with the community.
