Bio-Eco

The project aims to support the development of the bio-economy in the Adriatic-Ionian region through the definition of regional and inter-regional cooperation strategies based on three main pillars:

1. technology transfer applied to the green chemistry sector,
2. trans-sectoral integration between clusters in the green chemistry and agro-industry sectors,
3. transnational integration between clusters and companies at different states of technological and entrepreneurial maturation.

The project, funded under the ADRION Territorial Cooperation Program, features 7 partners from 6 European countries: in addition to Sviluppumbria, Confindustria Umbria in Italy, the National Institute of Chemistry in Slovenia, the Ruder Boskovic Research Institute in Croatia, the Region of Western Macedonia in Greece, the Regional Development Agency of Vojvodina Alma Mons in Serbia and the Albanian National Chamber of Commerce.
