Public notice for business missions abroad and incoming planned by qualified actuators and benefitting Umbrian SMEs - creation of the regional catalogue 2019-2020

Published by Sviluppumbria, in the ordinary supplement to the "Official Bulletin" - Notices and Competitions Series - no. 29 of 9 July 2019, PUBLIC NOTICE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS MISSIONS ABROAD AND INCOMING PLANNED BY QUALIFIED ATTUATORS AND BENEFITTING UMBRIAN SMEs - CREATION OF THE 2019-2020 REGIONAL CATALOGUE

With this notice Sviluppumbria aims to collect and select proposals for Structured Projects for Export Promotion, prepared by specialized operators defined as "Actuators”, to be included in a special Regional Catalogue available to Umbrian SMEs (including freelancers), who are the Recipients and, therefore, the Beneficiaries of the Aid.

Internationalisation projects are complex projects, which include business missions abroad and incoming activities in Umbria, carried out by specialized actuators, benefitting SMEs that intend to start a process of internationalization. The plan must outline an overall strategy of territorial and/or sectoral promotion, in accordance with the annual program of interventions for internationalization 2019 as defined by the Umbria Region.

The project implementation process is divided into a first phase, activated by this Notice, of selection of the subjects Implementers and Projects of internationalisation and creation of the Regional Catalogue, while phase 2 will be activated through the publication of a special Notice addressed to SMEs and freelancers, recipients of the Support.

In this first phase, the Actuating Subjects can apply by providing their specialist skills on internationalisation and the project proposal(s), specifying the minimum number of Recipients necessary for the activation of each Project submitted, which must range from a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15.

The Internationalisation Projects that pass the assessment procedure will be included in the Regional Catalogue, in order of score obtained, and may be chosen by the Recipients once Phase 2 has been activated, up to the limit of the available resources and provided that the minimum number of Recipients is reached.

Actuating Subjects by definition are:

• Companies providing services for internationalisation
• Consortia and "Networks" of enterprises

Submissions for Projects for the Regional Catalogue are accepted from 9 July 2019, the date of publication of the Notice, through 30 August 2019, for Projects to be started in the period between 1 January, 2020 and 30 December, 2020. Once the preliminary and evaluation operations have been carried out, the Regional Catalogue of Projects will be prepared.

The notice falls within the scope of the Regional Operational Programme Umbria 2014-2020, Action 3.3.1 "Export promotion projects for companies and their aggregate forms identified on a territorial or sectoral basis".
